  The Kraken are legendary sea monsters of giant proportions said to dwell off the coasts of

  Norway and Greenland. The legend originated from sightings estimating them to be 40–50 ft in

  length, including the tentacles. These creatures normally live at great depths, but it is its

  nature that it swallows both men and ships, whales and everything that it can reach.
